Sales Executive for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Production Control Systems
The Position
This is a senior position with responsibility to directly generate revenue by selling our products and services to corporate customers/prospects within the designated geography (territory or vertical). This contributor role is an outside sales position and the candidate is expected to spend a minimum of 50% of his/her time weekly in the field with customers and prospects. The Sales Executive reports to the senior vice president of sales and marketing.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the WMS market space and proven track record of success in achieving similar sales quotas. The candidate will also be required to have a rolodex of relationships with companies in his/her territory.
Responsibilities
- Attainment of quarterly revenue goals and objectives to satisfy a $1.2M annual quota in software licenses
- Accurately communicating sales revenue forecasts and other pertinent sales information in company CRM
- Leading complex sales cycles for the company and effectively managing company resources to bring opportunities to close
- Finding and qualifying new WMS sales opportunities
- Managing existing customer relationships in the territory
Requirements
- Integrity and a winning attitude
- Minimum of 5 years of enterprise-software sales experience and proven quota attainment for the past 3 years
- Ability to work in a self-sufficient environment with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a strong rolodex of contacts in the WMS space
- Verifiable over-quota achievement for the last 3 years via W-2s
- The compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with your experience
