John Sterling, Chief Executive Officer
John Sterling is the CEO of Foxfire and previously Datastream's executive vice president of worldwide sales and international operations. While at Datastream, Sterling served as executive vice president of Global sales and was involved with many facets of the organization including the business-to-business division and e-commerce. A guiding force in Datastream's management since 1987, Sterling orchestrated the sales growth in maintenance software as the company grew from DOS-based applications to Internet-based systems. Sterling served as Datastream's vice president of international marketing and managing director of Datastream Europe. Sterling's international accomplishments include coordinating six international acquisitions and establishing direct offices in five continents. Sterling holds a BS degree in Political Science from The Citadel.
Jeff Childers, Chief Operations Officer
Jeff Childers is the COO of Foxfire and most recently served as the principal owner of the consulting firm Reliasys Solutions Inc. in Greenville, SC. In this position, Jeff provided consulting and technical services to Fortune 500 companies implementing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software applications. Before Reliasys, Childers served as vice president of development for Datastream where he was responsible for the creation and deployment of its global EAM software. Childers development group consisted of a 120 person team in four separate operating units. Other positions that Childers held at Datastream include manager of software quality assurance and head of the corporate technical services group. Childers also managed the development effort of the first Windows implementation of MP2 for Datastream and was a programmer working on early DOS versions. Jeff holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
Dustin Caudell, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Dustin Caudell is the senior vice president of sales & marketing of Foxfire and previously served as Vice President of North American Sales for Datastream. In his 13 years at Datastream, Caudell helped the company grow from a 40-person niche provider to a worldwide leader in business application software. As a leader of North American sales, in 2006, Caudell led one half of the North American field sales team to 30% growth over the previous year. In 1999, Dustin led the North American field sales team to the highest level of sales performance in company history. Other positions held by Caudell at Datastream include regional vice president, director of business development, and director of eCommerce sales. Datastream was acquired by Infor in 2006. Dustin holds a BS degree in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting from Clemson University and serves on the Foxfire board of directors.
Jack Peck, Corporate Advisor
Dr. John Peck is a previous co-founder of Foxfire and currently serves on Foxfire's board of directors. Peck's interest in the industry started years ago at Clemson University where he served in a variety of capacities including director of the division of information systems development, an organization he founded in 1974 to assist South Carolina State Government in the design and development of very large database/data communication systems such as Medicaid and Online Medical Records. In addition to authoring numerous scholarly research papers, Peck is Professor Emeritus in the Computer Science Department at Clemson University after retiring from Clemson in 2000 as Chairman of the Department.
In addition, Peck's experience includes positions such as the financial systems programmer for the Dow Chemical Company, systems analyst for the Shell Oil Company, consultant to NCR, software engineer for TECH Systems Inc. and Series One Inc., as well as principal investigator of Clemson University's Advanced Apparel Manufacturing Technology Demonstration, US Air Force Manufacturing 2000, and the National Science Foundation. Peck earned his PhD degree in Computer Science at the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
John Henderson, Corporate Advisor
John Henderson is a co-founder of Foxfire and is currently serving as a corporate advisor to the organization. He has extensive management experience in technical and financial positions, having worked in the field of industrial engineering while specializing in apparel manufacturing and distribution center management. He has performed computer systems analysis in many manufacturing applications including real-time shop floor control sewing systems, real-time knitting systems, greige goods inventory systems, piece goods inventory systems, finished goods systems, supply chain execution systems, and general accounting and standard cost systems. Henderson's experience includes positions such as sales engineer for ETON Systems, apparel manufacturing consultant with Summerour and Associates, director of financial and information services for PPG Industries, Inc., and vice president of Operations for Barclay Home Products. Henderson holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA degree from Duquesne University.
