On-demand computing is an increasingly popular delivery model in which a technology based solution is provided to the user for a monthly fee versus having to invest in all of the solution components upfront. This Software as a Service (SaaS) model spreads out the payment for the WMS system over time to more closely align with the timeline of the WMS software's expected benefits.
